Britney Spears Blatantly Refuses to Kiss G-Eazy During Their Steamy VMAs Performance

After nearly 10 years, Britney Spears made a ferocious return to the MTV Video Music Awards stage at NYC's Madison Square Garden on Sunday night. Between her fierce hair flips, sexy costume, and hit song "Make Me . . .," it was definitely a new Britney moment that will undoubtedly go down in VMAs history. But one thing from the performance might also be remembered for a few different reasons. While sharing the stage with G-Eazy, the two engaged in some steamy flirting, including Britney full-on grabbing his crotch at one point. But when the rapper romantically caressed her face and appeared to maybe try to hint at kissing her, Britney firmly shook her head "no" and backed away.

Fans quickly called out the moment on social media, tweeting things like, "SO WE NOT TALKING ABOUT HOW G EAZY TRIED TO KISS BRITTNEY AND SHE SWERVED," and, "He was just trying to have a kiss moment with her and she was like Goodnight." While it's hard not to feel bad for the rapper, we also can't help but commend Britney for knowing exactly what she wants (or doesn't want). G-Eazy also didn't seem to sweat it; he was spotted holding hands with Pia Mia while heading to Club Up and Down later that night.
