Killed spokesman ISIS

The spokesman of the militant group Islamic State, Abu Muhammad al-Adnan was killed in northern Syria Amaq news agency, which is affiliated with the extremist organization.

Quoting a "military source", he said Adnan Amaq was killed "during inspection operations for the withdrawal of the military campaigns in Aleppo".

It is not clear whether he was killed by ground forces, or in any air attack.

Adnan said to have been one of the officials who has served longer in the Islamic State.
